Events held on the society of roleplay world are no news, as almost every week, something is happening in all sorts of corners, may it be in the international or local community. Base openings, Formal balls, parties, team buildings, school attacks, and many more — these are only a few of the things roleplayers enjoy while spending time with their friends while gaining new ones.

The community is indeed a place of wonders and endless possibilities, that it wasn't a full shock when an announcement of a Music Fest will be held. Especially that music is considered as the international language, for it only doesn't give entertainment, but a weirdly powerful connection between its listeners. It was almost the same reason why two of the popular names on the local community decided to organize an event that could cater to everyone who shares the same interest and love for the local music. And thus, PAKIGLAMBIGIT : Celebration of Music in Fireocity took the community to another level of experience.

The event is a collaborative effort of two known groups in the local scene of events and music — Down Dilimans and Studio 11. DDG, a seventeen-membered group of friends, are known to hold events every month ever since they started with Summer Fair 2020, followed by DDG: Never A Stranger, Once Upon A Diliman, and the July representative, Pakiglambigit. Of course, everything wouldn't be successful without their organizing partner, Studio 11.

The idea came from the two founding persons of Studio 11, Kyle Matteo Yu Esquival and Sam Miguel De Realle Akiyama-Esquival who approached Camille Takahashi and Ashton Kyler Beaumont Juarez Yu of DDG, hence the collaboration. According to Sami in an interview, the initial plan was a Coachella-themed music fest, not until the suggestion of fire was suggested, which fits the title of the event PAKIGLAMBIGITa derived bisaya word which means "to heal oneself.”

"Music can be one of the reasons why we can heal ourselves when no one else can,"Calvin Salazar, DDG STAFF.

As the title suggested, the event aims to spread enjoyment and comfort through one thing, MUSIC. Liner Wu, a DDG Staff have said in an interview,  "Everyone is closing, going on hiatus and having a hard time so we came up to make an event to heal the people also with the touch of music because we all know that music can do everything like make us forget, make us feel loved and many other more but the main thing is that music can also heal our soul."

Although in a story shared with the members of DDG, the event almost didn't push through as their friendship was tested during the preparations. Clouded with personal reasons, stress, and misunderstandings, resulting in almost little to none days to organize the mass details of the big event. However, with the same desire to make it worthwhile,  they overcome the struggle and decided to just enjoy the flame and music.
